Attractive 1926 Exhibit card of Athletics first baseman Joe Hauser owner of a .284 lifetime batting average over a 6-year major league career. Hauser who slammed 27 home runs in 1924 and finished seventh in the MVP voting that season but suffered a broken leg in 1925 that caused him to miss the entire season. He would attempt a comeback in 1926 but ultimately became a superstar in the minor leagues slamming 63 home runs in 1930 for the Baltimore Orioles of the International League and 69 home runs in just 153 games for the 1933 Minneapolis Millers of the American Association. Hauser applied his signature to the left side of this card with appears in EX to EX-MT condition save for the handwritten notations of a fan on the reverse.
