Former White Sox Manager (1915-18) Pants Rowland became president of the Pacific Coast League in 1944, a position he retained for a full decade until 1954. Rowland has signed the presented original press photo depicting minor league magnates at what appears to be the 1945 winter meetings in Columbus, OH. Several former major leaguers appear in this image, including: Dolf Camilli, Pepper Martin, Lefty O'Doull, Marv Owen, and Bill Skiff - all of whom were PCL managers at the time. A full paper caption identifying each individual remains affixed below the seated men. Handwritten pencil notations are present on verso along with a JSA sticker in the lower-right corner.
