The Colgan's Chips Red Border Series (E270-1 in the American Card Catalog) followed on the heels of the company's more expansive E254 Stars the Diamond set and is the toughest of their three issues to track down. The name here states Regan but this is an image of Pat Ragan, who had a long career in the majors and was with Rochester in 1909 and 1911, which makes the PSA dating of this set a bit dubious. No matter, this PSA 2 is the only example of this subject in their pop report. Reasonably well-centered, especially for a Red Border, some edge chipping is visible here and there around the rim. The image is nice and dark, with Ragan's brooding face looking almost eerie. Some paper loss is seen on the reverse, which is also centered fairly well.
