Gorgeous example of this difficult short print, a card that typically suffers from a variety of print flaws related to coloration.  In most examples of this card, the blue piping, buttons and belt in Adams' uniform is simply nonexistent; a quick search for examples of the card illustrates this.  This example is superior in detail, with thin lines etching out the piping in Adams' uniform, without over saturating the image itself.  Print registration is near perfect, which is unusual for this issue.  Simply a wonderful example, with detail that we seldom see.
