Collection of 15 original photographs capturing both the interior and exterior details of Wrigley Field in Chicago, c.1949. Each of the photos is wonderfully detailed and combines to recreate what must have been a fabulous walking tour of the Cubs home park as it stood almost 75 years ago. Each 7" x 5" photo displays the lettering "C. & S. 1949" in the lower-right corner, though some examples have this covered over with black sharpie. Verso of all photos includes credit stamping from C. & S. Sports Photos but again some are obscured with black sharpie. A charming collection of images from one of baseball's most historic ballparks. This grouping once belonged to legendary stadium collector Ray Medeiros.
