From the Cincinnati studios of W. Dillon's Imperial Photo Gallery, comes a nicely composed image of a the "Young Ladies Base Ball Club No. 1" on a horizontal cabinet mount. The team was also known as the "Black Stocking Nine," a barnstorming team organized by Sylvester Wilson, a figure of some ill repute during the era. Foxing can be seen, especially in the borders, which have staining in spots. Fortunately, almost all of the damage misses the photo. The reverse mount has some stains as well, with heavier foxing with the corners are all peeling a little.
