Superb action pose of Dave Philley taking a vicious cut while a member of the White Sox (1941-51 for our purposes here, although he briefly rejoined the team in 1956). This PSA 5 card look very nice, apparently dinged for the fingernail half-moon seen in the top obverse border, with one corner slightly touched. The reverse has some bright spots from handling.
