Carl Sawatski showin' off the specs and a classic catcher's pose on this "P on Cap" (for Phillies) Exhibit card from the late 1950's. His inclusion is an odd one as he was never a starter and was known primarily as a pinch-hitter but he did play for the Champion 1957 Braves before a mid-season trade in 1958 found him in Philly. It's even odder when you realize he has two other cards in the Exhibit run, all in this pose but with three different caps thanks to some airbrushing magic. This PSA 5 (MK) example, for a tiny pen mark on the reverse, does feature a nicely contrasted image and lightly touched corners. What looks like a crease or scratch at lower left is actually part of the original negative.
