Something of a forgotten Yankee these days, Billy Johnson played third base on four World Series winning Bombers teams, often platooning with Bobby Brown. He was traded to the Cardinals in May 1951 and finished his career with them in 1952. Topps captured him in an ersatz batting pose in a heavily airbrushed uniform, and the example here has some staining at the top, rounded corners and some surface wear, with a fabulous PSA/DNA GEM MINT 10 autograph.
