One of the more difficult to obtain signatures in the 1952 Topps set with just 13 cards authenticated, shortstop Vern Stephens is an underrated player from his era, finishing in the top 10 in MVP voting six times. An 8-time All-Star who led the AL in home runs in 1945, and won the RBI crown three times, Stephens is the only man to play on the 1944 AL Champion St. Louis Browns team and the Baltimore Orioles, the team the Browns became after moving to Baltimore in 1954.
Stephens applied his signature in red ballpoint in the white area on this attractive 1952 Topps card, the signature authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
