Superstar Walter Johnson appears at a typewriter in this undated 8" x 10" original photograph. Minor chipping is present to the bottom border and both corners on the left side have fallen away. Some creasing is evident towards the right side of the image and brown paper remnants remain affixed to verso, which is otherwise blank. Despite any minor flaws this is a fabulously detailed image of Johnson and a rare, intimate look at the future Hall of Famer in plain clothes. Guaranteed Type 1.
