Billy Sunday gained fame as an evangelist after his playing days ended and truth be told, he was a mediocre ballplayer. His 446-4 pose, also known as "Catch, Hands Cupped" is, in our opinion, one of the best images in the entire, long Old Judge N172 set. His dark White Stockings uniform is a sight to behold here, set against a cityscape backdrop and you can clearly see the leggings the team was nicknamed after, in all their bleached glory. The cut is tight at the top but the image itself is all there, with corners that are just starting to round.  The reverse has some ancient tobacco residue spots seen here and there.
