A two-way player who once netted 38 wins for the 1890 Phillies, William "Kid" Gleason also manned second base during a 22 year major league career but is now best remembered for being the skipper of the 1919 Chicago Black Sox. All well and good except this card depicts the unrelated Bill Gleason, who played with the fabled St. Louis Browns of the American Association. This makes a ton of sense since the N370 1887 Lone Jack set only depicts the players from the Browns 1886 Championship team. With just a handful graded, this Authentic holder from SGC housed a card that has faded a bit over the decades. The image is light one and the card presents fairly well despite this.

PLEASE NOTE: While we had this card described correctly, the card was notated as "Kid" Gleason in the title, as it is incorrect on the SGC Grading label.  As noted in the description, this card does not picture Kid Gleason, but BILL Gleason.
