Meinhard "Monty" Pfyl (one can only hope his nickname was "Eyechart") had exactly one plate appearance in the major leagues, where he successfully laid down a sacrifice bunt for John McGraw's Giants in 1907 and then put in two innings in the field. He bounced around after that but 1911 saw him with Oakland of the PCL and he was caught there by the photographer for Pacific Coast Biscuit. This SGC 7 does the man justice, with wonderful clarity, entering and corners. The reverse has a small stamp in purple at the bottom. This one of the four top graded cards in the entire set in the SGC database, all 7's (PSA has a single low grade example shown).
