1888 studio cabinet of shortstop "Yank" Robinson, one of the more important members of the 1886 World Champion St. Louis Browns. Robinson drew an extraordinary number of walks, topping .400 in on base percentage three out of four seasons between 1887 and 1890. Taken by Scholten Studios of St. Louis, the studio that took the photos for the St. Louis Browns. Some staining and foxing is evident, along with some wear at the corners. This, coupled with heavy soiling on the mount (both front and back) reduce the technical grade.
