A scant 9,133 fans attended this afternoon tilt at Ebbets Field between the Pirates and Dodgers midway through Jackie Robinson's rookie season. Pittsburgh deployed two future Hall-of-Famers in their lineup (Ralph Kiner and Hank Greenberg, who both homered) while Brooklyn countered with three (Robinson, Pee Wee Reese and Arky Vaughan) to no avail as they lost to the Bucs 7-1. This stub has been removed from an old scrapbook, as evidenced by the band of tape residue and some resultant paper loss running across the middle. As a result it's been graded as PSA 1, the only example at any grade in their pop report for this particular game.
