Interesting trio of 1920 receipts issued on Ban Johnson's ledger stationery, each issued to the New York Yankees for what appears to be gate receipts.  Included are the following: 1) May 21 receipt for games with Cleveland between May 15 and 19, totaling $2,058.36.  2) July 22 receipt for games with Chicago between July 17 and 20, totaling $2,988.04.  3) August 24 receipt for games with Cleveland between August 16 and 19.  It should be noted that the August 16 game is historically significant, as it is the game where Yankees pitcher Carl Mays beaned Indians infielder Ray Chapman, the only time a player has ever been killed as a direct result of a pitched ball.

All three receipts measure 8 1/2" x 9 3/4" and appear in VG condition with some edge wear, folds, and age related toning.  Three receipts total.
