A mediocre pitcher across six big league seasons, Don Rudolph is probably best remembered for having married a stripper known professionally as Patti Waggin. He was killed in a car wreck in 1967 and is a tough signature on any medium. The 1958 Topps card he's signed here has been handled a bit, perhaps by the inscribee, as this is a very detailed autograph, with "Lot(s) of Best Wishes always" inscribed above his signature. PSA/DNA has given this a MINT 9 grade, acknowledging an exceptionally nice blue ballpoint autograph. This is one of a mere two signed 1958 Rudolph cards in the PSA/DNA database.
