Fleer's early 1960's entries in the baseball card sweepstakes introduced the youth of America to some bygone players, as they took old black and white photos of 79 vintage All Stars and Hall-of-Famers and colorized them. The image of Pie Traynor seen here is from his days managing the Pirates in the 1930's. A popular set for catching autographs, Traynor has signed this somewhat handled card nicely and legibly in blue ballpoint. PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC and one of the tougher signed subjects in the set, with just three identified in the PSA pop report.
