Murray Wall broke into the major with the Boston Braves in 1950, appearing in one game. He next saw big league action in 1957, with the Red Sox a circuitous journey that would only merit a brief stroll if waling in Beantown. His inclusion in the 1953 Topps set marks his rookie card and this is a nice one, in nice shape after 70 years have passed. He eventually cratered with the Sox and finished in the minors in 1961. Wall died young, unfortunately by his own hand, at age 45 in 1971 and there are only two examples of this 1953 signed card in the PSA population.
