Johnny Groth spent fifteen seasons in the American League, sandwiching three seasons in Washington, Chicago and Kansas City between two lengthy stints with the Tigers, where he patrolled centerfield. The 1952 Topps card seen here has some corner rounding and surface wear yet comes across nicely. His signature, in blue, is large and dark, a really nice exemplar. PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC.
