He had a fairly short career after debuting with Cleveland in 1949 but Luke Easter had some serious pop. AFter dropping into the minors in 1954, he played another decade in the minors, finally retiring at age 48. His 1952 Topps card is a study in watercolor, a real feast for the eyes. Rounded corners and some light creasing are seen here, with a signature in blue PSA/DNA has deemed AUTHENTIC. Luscious Luke passed away in 1979 at the young age of 63. Signed cards of Easter are difficult; PSA/DNA has authenticated just 14 examples of his '52 Topps cards, only six of which are black backs like this one.
