He may have started 1952 with the BoSox but journeyman pitcher Ray Scarborough ended up with the Yankees thanks to a late August contract sale. His had a single inning outing in the World Series and ended up with his one and only ring. His 1952 Topps card as seen here has some wear and fairly typical Topps centering and a large signature in blue.  It's a PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC example of a player who passed away in 1982, before the show autograph circuit was really established.  As a result, PSA/DNA has authenticated just 12 Scarborough-signed '52 Topps cards, only six of which are the black backed variety.
