Connie "Con" Dempsey pitched in three games with the Pirates in 1951, going 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA across 7 innings as the Bucs changed his delivery for the worse. He tried to latch on with the Phillies in 1952, as seen here, but failed and remains one of the most obscure players in the 1952 Topps set. The card seen here has some corner rounding and has excellent color. The autograph, in black, is PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC.
