As a 20 game winner for the 1948 World Series champion Indians, one would think Topps would be able to spell Gene Bearden's last name correctly but they were not up to the task. A shame, as this is a fantastic, airbrushed  look at the Browns uniform set with Bearden against a thematically correct brown outfield wall. There's some minor corner touches and the card has a nice, appealing look. The blue ballpoint signature, PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC, seems to have been signed later in Bearden's life.
