A so-so pitcher for some good Yankees teams in his early career, then a good pitcher for some so-so teams in Washington before he was converted to a reliever, Bob Porterfield died young in 1980. His 1952 Topps card is a semi-high number, with this example having some surface and corner issues.  Porterfield's signature has come through quite well and the blue ballpoint autograph is a PSA/DNA MINT 9, one of just 11 examples in the PSA/DNA population report.
