Lot Description  

Merrill Combs was in the last of his five major league seasons in 1952 and Topps gave him what amounted to a colorful sendoff. This example is a sweet looking '52 and nicely centered with just a hint of wear at the corners.  The signature is in blue and quite nice.  PSA/DNA agrees with their grade of NM-MT 8.  Combs passed in 1981; PSA/DNA has authenticated just 12 examples of his 1952 Topps card.
