On the losing end of the Shot Heard "Round the World, Ralph Branca was a true swingman who pitched a dozen years in the majors.  Infamy may not be as nice as fame or heroism but he was noble in defeat and spent years on the rubber chicken and card show circuits as a result.  His 1952 Topps semi-high number, while not receiving a grade, is a nice one, with this example having a slight tilt with excellent color and clarity. His signature, in nice, clear Blue Sharpie, is superb and has earned a grade of MINT 9 from PSA/DNA.
