Pirates coach Clyde Sukeforth had an uneventful major league career but will forever be known as the man who facilitated Jackie Robinson's signing and also signed Roberto Clemente. He also was the bullpen coach for the 1951 Dodgers and when the call came from the dugout he promptly informed Charlie Dressen to put Branca in the game. Hence his new position in Pittsburgh.  PSA/DNA has given a grade of NM-MT 8 to the signature, executed in blue and slightly hurt by a small smudge starting off his first name.  One of only 9 examples in the PSA/DNA population report.
