Collection of various equipment-related baseball guides from pre-WWII. Each of the guides displays considerable wear but all have unique display value. Included are the following: 1) Sporting Life"s Baseball Library: How "The Cubs" won the World"s Championship for 1909 (considerable wear and staining with a delicate spine. The cover has a hole that has been subject to an interesting-looking repair probably close to the period with a "B" from "Cubs" added in with fountain pen. 2) Reach 1908 Spring and Summer equipment guide a G/VG-condition book featuring a variety of baseball equipment. 3) Reach "Playing Pointers" from 1931 (2 copies - one VG one lesser) 4) Spalding"s "Base Ball for Beginners " Copyright 1920. 5) Spalding Base Ball Team Equipment guide for 1933 and 6) Ken-Wel equipment guide from 1925 G/VG appearance with some pages cut with scissors on the interior.A very interesting grouping of books published by various popular manufacturers of sporting goods very collectible keepsakes today.
