1957 Topps features some of the best photographic work ever to appear on their cards, or anyone else's for that matter. Richie Ashburn shows of his Hall-of-Fame form here, getting ready to lay down a faux-bunt in a wonderfully composed image that's just bursting with color. Like Ashburn, the corners are squared up, with centering just ever-so-slightly drifting toward the upper corner. A small wax stain appears on the reverse but make no mistake, this is one fine looking card.
