1957 saw Topps shrink their cards to the still-in-use standard size, in a set known for its beautiful photography. The use of a frame gave the team cards an almost 3-D look and this PSA of the Pirates team gives you a nice shot of the famed Forbes Field left field wall, proving the Cubs didn't have a monopoly on ivy. Bill Mazeroski can be seen in his first official team photo, like teammate Roberto Clemente in the nascent stage of his Hall-of-Fame career. The back has an almost patriotic look to it, no surprise as this is a classic example from a classic set.
