The 1940 Play Ball set is a bit of an underrated  set.  Obscured a bit perhaps by their more colorful 1941 issue, the 1940 number featured an impressive 240 subjects, with some old timers sprinkled in and was a large set for its time. "Ol' Pete" gave the set some Hall of Fame cachet (presumably the point of including retirees) and this PSA 3.5 resides in a holder that houses a fairly graded card that presents quite nicely.
