Bishop & Company is responsible for two of the scarcest PCL sets known to man. In this case it's the E100 set, which had 30 subjects within, including Albert "Del" Delmas, a slick fielding shortstop with a light stick who played in 216 games in 1909, a mere 212 games in 1910 and a further 163 in the year of issue here and would have been well known to the west coast cranks. He had a solid career and if you are wondering why the name seems vaguely familiar, his son Bert played with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1933.

E100's as a rule have not survived in quantity or quality.  PSA has graded 7 overall and SGC has graded only one Delmas card.  The front may not have survived its initial candy-coated contact with the original purchaser but the pastel blue background is still enticing and the reverse has evidence of being gently removed from a scrapbook at some point. These are practically impossible cards to find and examples truly do not come up with any frequency.
