The beauty of the T206 issue for hobbyists is that it can be collected in a myriad of ways. Aside from building the full set, there are many different subsets that attract collectors who pursue cards based on team, back variety, variation, league, print group, and any number of other options. One of the more popular (and valuable) pursuits is that of the print anomaly. Such print errors help collectors to understand the methods in which the set was initially printed, but hobbyists also find them far more rare than many of the issue's most scarce front/back combinations. Presented is one such case, a "front view" card of Wildfire Schulte with a rare upside-down Piedmont reverse. Clearly hand-cut, the card remains clean and bright, certainly with stronger eye appeal than most cards with this particular print issue, as many are well-worn, with paper loss and significant creasing. The Piedmont 150, Factory 25 back is miscut in addition to being upside-down, as is the case with many of these errors. Still, an extremely attractive example, one of the finest we have handled.
