Interesting collection of nine signed, hand-painted art balls, originating from the collection of long-time Baltimore Orioles broadcaster Ted Patterson. Each of the balls has been signed by the subject, and carries a Basic Cert from James Spence Authentication. All but one of the balls were painted by artist J.M. Everett. Collection includes: 1) Yogi Berra (HOF): Personalized "To Ted, good luck", with light but uneven toning. 2) Lou Brock (HOF): Personalized "To Ted, good luck," lightly toned baseball with smudged inscription; 3) Whitey Ford (HOF): Personalized "To Ted, good luck." 4) Cal Ripken, Jr./Brooks Robinson (HOF): "A Tradition of Excellence" baseball picturing the two Orioles greats, not painted by Everett but signed by each player. 5) Brooks Robinson (HOF): Faded signature underneath the portrait, lightly and unevenly toned. 6) Frank Robinson (HOF - 2): Pair of baseballs, one signed under the portrait, the other signed on the South panel; 7) Pete Rose: evenly-toned with a sharp signature. 8) Carl Yastrzemski (HOF): heavy toning, presents well regardless. Nine baseballs total.
