Despite a record breaking 111 victories in the regular season, the Cleveland Indians would be swept in the 1954 World Series by the New York Giants, this ticket stub from the deciding fourth game.  The 1954 World Series was the first in six seasons in which the Yankees did not play, the Indians .721 winning percentage too much to overcome.  Game 4 was a 7-4 Giants victory, the Giants having accumulated their runs by the top of the 5th, making a comeback unlikely.  Hall of Famer Bob Lemon took his second loss of the Series.  The stub is in POOR condition with heavy creasing and wear throughout, and significant edge wear.
