The 1955 World Series is significant and a favorite among collectors, because it was the only World Championship for the Dodgers while they were in Brooklyn, and fifth time the Dodgers would meet the Yankees in the Series, finally winning one. The Series went the full seven games, the Dodgers taking all three contests at Ebbets Field. Game 3, played September 30, was an 8-3 Dodgers victory, with future Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle and Roy Campanella each hitting home runs for their respective teams. The ticket grades POOR with significant surface wear and abrasions, foxing, heavy creases and some adhesive staining on the reverse.
