Author of 34 home runs in five years, "Home Run" Duffe was the first Alabama-born player to play in the major leagues. Sadly, health issues forced him out of baseball at just 27 years old, and he died of tuberculosis the following year. His N172 card here has been graded FR 1.5 by SGC due to creasing and a visible tear emanating from the bottom right edge of the card; significant soiling is also apparent on the reverse.
