Attractive 19th Century collection of paper die-cuts featuring people riding bicycles. Includes four pieces in total including two die-cuts featuring images of children riding high-wheeled bicycles each measuring approximately 7 1/2" x 3 3/4". The child wearing the brown suit appears to be in outstanding condition though the area around the head is quite flimsy and worn; great care must be taken when handling the piece. The child wearing the blue suit also is in apparent excellent condition sturdy and intact. Also included are two smaller die cuts each measuring an unconventional 2" x 5" featuring women riding bicycles. Both images have been die cut away from the background which was intended to be folded up to create a 3D effect (similar to the Topps "Stand Ups" baseball issue from 1964). In both cases the top portion of the card has come away from the die cut; they are shown together in the image but are most definitely in two pieces. Four very interesting pieces featuring a bicycle theme.
