Unique collection of seven 8" x 10" photos depicting players from the 1920 White Sox, one season removed from the infamous Black Sox scandal of 1919. Collection features two images used as source the material for 1922 Willard's Chocolates cards, including starting outfielder Nemo Leibold and infielder Harvey McClellan. All photos are surprisingly clean and bright with a few small missing corners found in the group. Verso of all photos include a full paper tag with large International Film Service Co. stamping. Players included: Shano Collins, Clarence Hodge, Bubber Jonnard, Ted Jourdan, Joe Kiefer, Nemo Leibold, Harvey McClellan. These photos are fresh to the hobby and originate from the archives of Photo File, Inc. where they have been stored for several decades until this offering.
