Here's a a pair of strip cards that have been attached since 1931, originally part of a three-card strip that has had its top card (which was Bob Meusel).  Dubbed W517 in the American Card Catalog, the cards were tinted in various colors and originally issued in strips of three. Eddie "Rausch" is of course, Edd Roush, a Hall-of-Famer who sported a .323 lifetime batting average across eighteen seasons and took home a ring when his Reds defeated the Black Sox in 1919. He's paired with Bill "Shore" whose last name was actually Shores and who pitched on the 1929 and 1930 Athletics teams that took home World Series crowns.

The strip has held up fairly well over the years. Roush has fared a little better than Shores and mostly exhibits even toning, front and back.  Shores has some paper loss in the border below his image and has a little less toning than Roush.  The reverse shows signs of being bent to begin the separation process but all-in-all this is a remarkable survivor.
