Though very few of the N172 Hall of Famers can be legitimately called "rare," there are a number that are more difficult than the others, and one is Roger Connor. Presented here is an attractive example with a clean, crisp image, upgradable due to the top of the card having been trimmed off noticeably. Some paper loss is visible on the reverse, evidence that the card was once mounted in a scrapbook, a common 19th Century pastime. The image is strong, with excellent clarity and contrast. Despite the trimming, a very tough card.
