Outstanding stub from the opening game of this "subway" series between the Cardinals and Browns, ultimately one by the National League club.  The Browns took Game 1, 2-1 on a pitcher's duel between Denny Galehouse and Mort Cooper, the Browns' runs coming on their only Home Run of the series, by George McQuinn.  Stub appears strong, but technically grades POOR due to paper loss on the reverse.  Some light surface wrinkling and paper writing is also evident.
