Beautiful 8" x 10" original photo of Hall of Fame shortstop Pee Wee Reese by Barney Stein.  The familiar image was used as the portrait image for the colorized illustrations on both his 1950 and 1951 Bowman baseball cards, the wide-bordered photo taken against a studio backdrop.  Type 1 photos used for the artwork for baseball cards are in high demand and never seem to stop escalating in value, particularly iconic cards of Hall of Famers like this one.  Authenticated as Type 1 and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
