The 10" x 8" photo does indeed picture a group of sad-looking Dodgers, an enlightening look at the expressions of men who worked hard for a full season and came up just a bit short.  The photo boasts a strong image, with editorial markings in the borders.  A tiny tear at the lower-right corner appears to have been exacerbated by the encapsulation process, the small corner hanging by a thread, but thankfully not damaging the photo itself.  Some mild staining is visible on the reverse, along with some handwriting.  Authenticated as Type 1 and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
