Program originating from one of the more controversial matchups in early NFL history, played on December 7, 1924 in Chicago, IL. At the conclusion of the 1924 NFL season the 7-1-1 Cleveland Bulldogs were declared champions by league officials. Despite the season being officially over, the Chicago Bears with their 6-1-4 record challenged the Bulldogs to a rematch and won 23-0 in front of a reported 18,000 fans at Wrigley Field. Despite the Bears declaring THEMSELVES league champions, NFL officials upheld Cleveland’s regular season record, ruling the Bulldogs-Bears contest an exhibition game not to be counted.

Overall condition appears excellent with no large creases present. Cover exhibits some light toning around perimeter, otherwise only two small unobtrusive creases can be found in the lower right corner. Interior pages are clean and bright though a coupon has been removed from one page. Superb images of the Chicago Bears throughout!
