The PC758 Max Stein Postcard issue is a grouping of 25 postcards issued by the Chicago-based postcard company mostly featuring popular players and teams of the period. Later in his career Bodie became well-known as Babe Ruth"s first roommate with the Yankees. In his early career however Bodie was known for his colorful personality and his massive 52-ounce bat (the sound of which gave him his nickname).Due to the wear normally associated with postcards and the scarcity of this issue in general no PC758 has ever graded higher than VG/EX. This one is a particularly strong example with square corners (and some wear on the bottom-right) along with some ink bleed-through from the postal indicia area on the back.
