An outstanding example of a popular Hall of Famer from a popular but scarce postcard issue this Max Stein Postcard was one of a small number of baseball-related cards produced by the Max Stein company a Chicago-based postcard manufacturer. Boasting strong overall eye appeal with general wear that accounts for the grade this is a strong unused postcard that represents the set extraordinarily well.Tinker is pictured here with Cincinnati which would date this postcard to 1913 (the only year in Tinker"s Hall of Fame career that he spent in Cincinnati). Tinker played a single season with the Reds then jumped to Chicago of the fledgeling Federal League where he spent the 1914 and 15 season. He finished his playing career as a player/manager with the Cubs in 1916.Population Data:SGC Population: 2 total graded 1 at this level none higherPSA Population: None graded
