Attractive 19th Century Sporting Life cover featuring the members of the 1895 World Champion Orioles. Measuring approximately 10" x 14 1/4" the newspring cover features black and white illustrations of the team members including Hall of Famers John McGraw Wilbert Robinson Hugh Jennings Joe Kelley Ned Hanlon Willie Keeler and John Clarkson. The cover does exhibit significant wear primarily at the edges and has been repaired with brown tape along the bottom right side and top edge. Additional edge notching and small tears are visible along the edges (primarily the left and right) with a small hole nea the masthead. Definitely POOR condition though the display quality remains excellent.
